This weekend marked my one year wedding anniversary and what better way to celebrate me officially becoming an Earnshaw than that of a Wuthering Heights themed wedding.
When you think of Wuthering Heights you are instantly hit with the image of Cathy standing on a cliff edge, her dress being swept away by wild gales, surrounded in the purple haze of the Yorkshire moors. This is what I have drawn on today.
- To capture the intense haunting passion between Cathy and Heathcliff use a palette of mauve, grey and burgundy tones.
- Use flowers such as astrantia, wax flowers, veronica, heather and amnesia roses to create in keeping bouquets.
- Wear a wedding dress with a mixture of period lace and floaty chiffon.
